We’re having a Mild start to the year – and we’re not talking about the weather! Kick starting our seasonal cask offering is Farmers Mild. At 3.4%abv, this is an easy drinking dark mild, with a well rounded body and a moderate fruity hop finish. It is available now in 9g cask, while stocks last.
Sticking with the darker ales to see us through the Winter months the next cask release will be Farmers XX Best 4.6% abv. First released in April 2025 to celebrate 20 years of Bradfield Brewery, paying homage to our first ever Brew being a traditional bitter, its popularity sees a return to our cask & bottle line up for 2026! Brewed with Maris Otter amber and chocolate malts to give a full bodied and complex mouthfeel, complimented by a robust bitterness and dark fruit flavours from the hops, it will be available in Cask & 330ml bottles from the end of January.
Despite our dairy farm heritage, would you believe it took us 20 years to brew a Milk Stout. First brewed in October 2025, after a prompt sell out, this creamy Milk Stout with flavours of chocolate and coffee and a smooth sweet finish, will be available around the end of February 2026.
Crowned with being the first seasonal ale of 2026 to be in its 20th year of production is Farmers Irish Dexter, a deep red coloured malty ale with a sweet flavour & dry finish. 4.8% abv. It may be themed for the St Patrick’s day celebrations, but it’s a proven popular ale for any day of the week!
These seasonal ales in cask, along with our permanent range of cask ales, takes us to Spring 2026 – for longer days and more sunshine rays (hopefully!).
