Farmers Ales to feature at the 2017 Hope Show

Bradfield Brewery are looking forward to bringing along our range of Farmers Ales to compliment the offering at this year’s Hope Show.

Hope Show is one of the major summer shows in Derbyshire and the Peak District giving an opportunity for large crowds of those who enjoy farming and the countryside to meet & celebrate the year just gone.
The show includes a wide range of displays, classes and competitions including the Sheepdog trials, Show Jumping, Heavy & Light Horses Showing, Poultry, Cattle and Sheep, including Rare Breeds, Gundogs, Vintage Cars and Motorbikes, Vintage Tractors and Engines, Horticulture, Crafts and lots more.

Alongside these activities there are lots for children to see and do, making it a great day out for all the family.

The show will take place on Bank Holiday Monday, 28th August from 8am onwards.

Look out for us within the trade section, we will have our Farmers Ales available in Bottles & 5 litre Mini Kegs as well as a range of merchandise and gifts.

Tractor Rally 2017 – Sunday 9th July

Bradfield Brewery once again sponsored this year’s Tractor Rally and an amazing £6065.00 was raised for Weston Park Cancer Charity.

This year’s Rally took place on Sunday 9th July and saw over 70 tractors of all different shapes and sizes take part in the rally which finished at our Brewery Tap, The Nags Head.

A great day was had by everyone involved and ideas for next year’s event are already on the table!

Bradfield Brewery to perform at Sheffield’s Music In The Gardens 2017

 

Bradfield Brewery are once again providing refreshments for this annual Sheffield event and we are looking forward to seeing the great line up of live entertainment!

Taking place over 4 days from 29th June to 2nd July, the event is welcoming The Bootleg Beatles, 10cc and The Zombies to the Botanical Gardens. The weekend of music finishes with ‘A night at the movies’ with Proms & Fireworks on Sunday 2nd July.

Father’s Day at Stocksbridge Leisure Centre!

Sunday 18th June, 12-4pm

A great afternoon for all the family with a Dog Show, Vintage Vehicle Display, Water Zorbs, Craft & Food Stalls, BBQ, Kids activities, Live Music & Fun Fair Rides.

We will be selling Farmers Ales on tap and also available to take away in bottles & mini kegs.

Bradfield Brewery Join 1st Birthday Celebrations at Fox Valley, Sheffield

We are delighted to have been invited to join in the 1st Birthday Celebrations at Fox Valley, taking part 16th-18th June 2017.

There’s a great line up of events taking place over the 3 days and we will be supporting the 3 day event with a Bar selling Farmers Ales on tap, as well as a stall selling Farmers Ales in Bottles & Mini Kegs as well as a selection of merchandise, ideal for Father’s Day gifts!

On Friday 16th June –

Our weekly Friday market will run at the usual time of 9am-3pm with special guests entertaining us throughout the day! There will be an extended offering of street food and we will launch our “pop-up picnic” area to provide another tranquil space for you to enjoy the great food selection on off here at Fox Valley!

Bolsterstone Male Voice Choir & Deepcar St John’s junior will be doing a special performance at 1pm by the fountain area to mark our special birthday.

We will be sharing our HUGE first birthday cake with everyone who attends as well as handing out balloons and there will be free facepainting outside Sandersons Department Store!

Saturday 17th June –

Join us for our big birthday food festival! Come and browse a host of local, fresh produce stalls and watch live cooking demonstrations at the Demo Kitchen all in our Market Quarter area! Free face painting will be available outside Sandersons from 1pm

On Father’s Day we will be joined by the fantastic Birds of Prey display from 10am. We will also be joined by The Vintage Vehicle and Classic Car Show from Wortley Rotary Club!

Strideout & Bradfield Brewery Beer Barrel Challenge 2017

Taking place on Saturday 10th June, the Beer Barrel challenge will see 8 teams carry a 56kilo Bradfield Brewery cask of beer along a 4km uphill, downhill route.

The challenge will start from Bradfield Cricket Pavilion, Low Bradfield at 10am, where the teams will embark on a steep uphill climb to Holdsworth before a steep descent will see the challenge finish at The Nags Head pub.

The fastest team to complete the course will win 72 pints of our Farmers Ales and all proceeds will go to Prostate Cancer UK.

Date for Your Diary – Steel City Downhill – 20th May 2017

2017  saw another great Steel City Downhill Event and we had a fantastic day cheering on the riders!

Hosted by World medalist Steve Peat, this dare devil down hill course in Grenoside woods is a great adrenaline rush for the competitors!

See you there again next year!
