With refurbishment works now complete at The King & Miller in Deepcar, Managers Tom Redman and Natalie Wild are looking forward to welcoming customers through the doors on Thursday the 11th October from 5pm onwards.

The pub has undergone a long awaited internal makeover that has been aimed at preserving the pub’s history whilst giving it a fresh look. Bradfield Brewery took ownership of the King & Miller in April 2018 and the pub has been closed since then while works have been underway.

Original features from inside the building have been retained where possible and walls and floors restored with the addition of new seating and a small extension to the bar area. A ¾ size snooker table has taken residence within the games room area as well as seating booths added to the main lounge area of the pub. Externally the venue enjoys a large beer garden area to the rear and an additional seating area compliments the front of the property.

Farmers Ales from Bradfield Brewery will be available from the bar as well as complimentary range of larger, ciders, wines and soft drinks. The pub will be opening 7 days a week from 11:30am with a food offering soon to be introduced.

John Gill, Director of Bradfield Brewery is delighted on the re-opening of the new brewery pub “We are all excited here at Bradfield Brewery about the re-opening of the King & Miller. The pub has been at the centre of the local community for a very long time and I am sure if walls could talk, they would have quite some tales to tell! So now, as a Bradfield Brewery Pub with Tom and Natalie at the helm, Thursday the 11th October 2018 will be the beginning of a new chapter in this pub’s history. I would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to customers both old and new to come and be a part of this old Public Inn’s ongoing tale!”.
